Some were obtained by excitedly grabbing random titles in record stores, sometimes based solely on their unique covers. Others I picked up because they looked sad all alone under a garage sale table. And then there are the gems, desperately sought after in heated bidding wars online.
Is the music good? Maybe, sometimes.
Will the reviews be good? Maybe, sometimes.
Vinyl has made a comeback, and people boast of their pristine and highly valued collections. That’s not me. My records are dirty, tattered, forgotten. And I want my imperfect collection to shine.
